Director of Sales And Marketing buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads


Functions as the strategic business leader of the hotel's Sales and Marketing Department and is responsible for property proactive account sales and segment sales, local and social catering sales, business travel sales
Responsible for overall account management, business generation, and sales prospecting for hotel property. Makes cold calls, manages existing and new client relationships, maximizing revenue management, and working with all hotel departments to deliver a positive experience for the guests.
Manages the marketing budget to enable development of hotel specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectiv
Establishes client base of organizations, associations, social groups, and corporate businesses through cold calls, telemarketing, direct outside and inside sales, and networking in order to secure business for the hotel.
The position is responsible for achieving revenue goals and the financial performance of the department.
Meet corporate deadlines.
Maintain current and accurate Sales files.
Submit weekly sales reports to corporate office.
Create and produce quarterly sales plans.
Work closely with General Manager on Revenue Management.
Prepare annual marketing plan and quarterly sales strategy reports with General Manager.
Maintains proper flow of information within the hotel by reviewing sales work file of assigned accounts

Requirement:
2- 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area preffered.
- Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Revenue Management - Knowledge of hotel revenue management concepts, processes and strategies (including sales cycles and trends, account management, pricing, and inventory management).
- Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Sales Disposition - Energetic, proactive, takes calculated risks, and perseveres to attain goals.
- Strategic Decision Making - Ability to gather and organize information relevant to a long-range goal or vision, develop alternative strategies, and execute a course of action to carry out strategy.
Demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize needs, and effectively manage resources.
Current and valid drivers license
Previous verifiable hotel sales experience.
Prompt and regular attendance.

- Communicates clients' requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner
- Insures maximum occupancy on a daily basis by performing follow-ups on progress of groups booked with Front Office
